Inge Berge will be hosting the jam tonight. This should be very interesting, to say the least.

Last week Inge opened up with some Pink Floyd and gave us a few of his originals too.

I wonder what he has in store for us this week?

Monday  – 9:00 to 12:30  ~ Open Jam with Dan King and friends
I am wicked excited that the Monday night jam is back. I
have to say that I loved hearing The Bandit Kings and Chelsea Berry
over the past few months. They took the place of the jam and gave us
some extraordinary music.
During these jams you get some magical moments from musicians that are there
to let loose with no planned agenda. Thank you to Dan King for hosting
this and to Fred Shrigley
for making it possible.

Thursday – 8:30 to 12:00 ~ Dave Sags Blues Party

He’s back! After a grueling  convalescence after a bizarre Cheez Whiz malfunction, Mike O’Connell is ready to step back into those white loafers and take control of his life again. Citizen ,weekend father, amiable glitarist  with vocals smooth as baby’s feet, we’re ready to take all he can give us. He’s promised me he’ll wear his plaid flannel wifebeater in honor of this glorious occasion. My high hat beaver man.
Cringing whilst backing him up will be that happy new newlywed, Mr. Benny O. Benson, who says things are fine in Glocca Morra. He’ll be thrashing those skins to the boogy beat behind Greg “Whammy Bar” Tower on catarrh, and myself, on base. A night to remember. Do come.

Topside Grille –  Events  ~ http://www.topsidegrill.com/index.php?link=events

Thursday- 8:00 to close ~ Max Sullivan:
Max Sullivan is one of the areas up and coming young performers. While he is known as a great blues guitarist, he plays all styles of music: classical, gospel, funk, roots, punk, classic rock. He writes and performs his own material in addition to performing covers. His set list is eclectic; you’ll hear anything from Buddy Guy to the Ramones. This young blues man knows his roots, but he is as influenced by the Pixies as by John Lee Hooker. His original songs are clearly blues infused but have crossover appeal. Max is currently performing around southern NH, MA, and NY: solo, and with his trio, the Max Sullivan Group. He also performs with the International House of Blues Foundation band, at the Boston House of Blues. Check out more at www.sonicbids.com/maxsullivan

Friday 8:30 to close ~ Cool Change
Cool Change is a music project that consists of a number of great musicians from the North Shore area. The nice thing about it is, it can change from an acoustic duo, to a two guitar trio, to a one guitar/percussion trio to a full band and fits into whatever venue. The kind of music, being blues, classic rock, R&B, and a small dose of pop  stays the same but the library of songs just keeps growing. One of our goals is to have people listening to songs and thinking “I love this song, no one ever plays this!! ” and it’s working. More often than not, people will come up after the gig and say just that, that our song selections are like old friends they haven’t heard from in a while. Check out more at www.coolchangemusic.com

Hoodoo Revelator

I do not call myself blueslvr for nothing. I have known The Hoodoo Revelator  for along time now. Blues in high gear.  A few of the guys left band and became The Ten Foot Pole Cats .  Jeff Fabrizio the bass player kept this  name alive. Yes, alive and kicking. There is no way you can possibly sit still while these guys are playing. I hope you can come and check them out when they are in town. They have a new harp player Glen Asaro who you are going to love. He does Whammer Jammer to the moon.
J. Geils, Magic, Dick the whole band would be proud to hear what Glen puts out. Although they are not strictly blues they know how to ignite a crowd and get them on to the dance floor. Last time they played  people were dancing right up until closing time. It was wild.  Please be sure to set the date aside.
I look forward to seeing you there.
Joanne
