PM. Five hours of great music performed by some of the North
Shore’s best. Each hour will include primary musicians with guest players,
covering selections from acoustic classics, bluegrass, blues, Celtic, jazz,

swing, and new originals. The line up is: 1-2PM: Barry O’Brien and

friends, 2-3PM: Steve Brennan and Henry Nigro, 3-4PM: Ryan/Ortolani/Fleming,

4-5PM: Sheila Jones and Ron Schrank, with Honky Tonk Women, and 5-6PM: Wild

Maple (Gary Dolinsky, Trish DeCaprio and friends). The setting
is outdoors, under the tent in the field next to

the historic barn that houses the Lanesville Community
Center. Food and beverages will be available for sale by The Plum Cove

Grind, Smokin’ Jim’s BBQ, The Lobster Pool, and Fisherman’s Brew. Local
crafts for sale, plus a great raffle. Admission is free, with
donations gratefully accepted. Parking is available at the St. Paul
Lutheran Church at 1123 Washington St. Come join
us!

The LCC is currently raising funds to
redesign the center’s interior to accommodate more music and arts, as well as
private parties, to create a community resource for everyone
to enjoy. Come see what we are up to. For more information on
the players, other LCC events, parking areas, and directions, see our website,

Chelsea Berry ~ The Noise ~ The Big Shot

CHELSEA BERRY
Walk With Me

10-song CD

Ms. Berry’s voice is heard to evincing effect on numbers such as the lovely “Walk With Me” and the mesmeric “The One I’ve Waited For,” and fans of Van Morrison’s Astral Weeks will find a great deal to like in these particular compositions. Otherwise, overall this seems a largely anodyne collection of sometimes overly solipsistic confessional songs and character pieces, though never less than competently executed. Her compositions are often jazzy and melodic in a restrained fashion, which is seldom the cause of any undue offense, yet also all too seldom evocative of any particular sense of wonder. (Francis DiMenno)

From the very first time I heard Chelsea Berry’s song  ” The One I’ve Waited For”  I said this should be number one on the charts. It is number one in my mind along with ” Walk With Me”.  Being a romantic I can easily get caught up in her music. Chelsea’s songs hit home in many ways and I am sure once you have listened to them you  will certainly agree. Check out the links to get a taste of Chelsea’s music.

Topside Grille –  Events  ~ http://www.topsidegrill.com/index.php?link=events

Thursday September 16
Toni Ann Enes:

Toni Ann is a local musician who has played the North Shore for 30 years.  In 2002 she released a debut CD colaborateing together with her life long friend David Brown.  Her favorite format is a combination of acoustic covers and original  music accompanied by her guitar partiner Dave Keon who performs with numerous local bands adding his unmistakable guitar signature.  To categorize the duo’s sound would be a groove similar to Sade and finger picking style of Lindsey Buckingham lending itself to Fleetwood Mac selections, 80’s Classics and current releases such as John Meyer.  The duo offers a little bit for everyone

Friday September 17
Inge Berge:
Inge Berge writes and performs interesting, catchy, unique, genre-bending originals as well as carefully chosen rock, americana and country covers songs  The sound is song-oriented, adult alternative rock sprinkled with elements of ambient, electronica and psychedelia. Influences include David Bowie, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Velvet Underground and Bob Dylan. He has played several hundred venues around the world, from Japan to Europe to Gloucester, MA; from tiny bars to stadiums and theaters. Check out more at www.ingebergeworld.com
