The singing begins at 6:00 every Monday night. For all the schooner heads this is quite a thing to see. If you have someone coming into town and want to hear and see something very different it can be pretty cool.
Be warned though- don’t go planning a meeting or meet-up where you think you’re going to be able to carry on a conversation while they are singing. Best to plan it for a different night at Cape Ann Brewing.

For more than five decades and over twenty albums, singer-songwriter-guitarist Tom Chapin has entertained, amused, and enlightened audiences of all ages. Whether as a folk troubadour or a pioneer in the field of children’s music, his reputation is one of insightful, heartfelt song-craft and a personal warmth of storytelling. Winner of three Grammy Awards, Chapin’s latest family release is the pun-intended Give PEAS A Chance (2011). From his childhood in Brooklyn where he grew up with his brothers Harry and Steve, to the joys of being a grandparent, his solo acoustic show features music from his vast career paired with traditional songs honoring his late brother, singer-songwriter and activist Harry Chapin. If you’re coming to the show and have a specific song request, please visit his website tomchapin.com and hear for yourself why Billboard Magazine calls him “totally captivating.”
