As you probably figured out, there is no blues Party for this week. Instead, why not reflect on all the good things in your life as you relax your medulla over the holidays. We’ll be back Jan. 1 with an early show (from 6 to 9) with the always ineffable Dennis Brennan. And don’t forget NYE in Rockport with many bands and venues guaranteed to flatten your tires. I’ll be backing up Ennui Smith at the Shalin Liu from 10 to 12, for example, and if you drive thru town with a light bulb out, the Rockport cops have graciously promised to not call out their Swat team to strip search passengers. What a deal!
