Join us at the Shalin Liu Performance Center for our Annual Celebration- the Welcoming of new President of the Board- Pat Slade of the Manchester Cricket, saying good-bye to this year’s President Sara Young, of Schooner Adventure and the installation of our new Board of Directors.
This year we will have a cocktail reception in the event room of the Shalin Liu Performance Center, catered by Vinwood Caterers, followed by a concert by the Cape Ann Divas- a show Not to be missed! The Cape Ann Divas are five wonderfully talented female vocalists who are beloved on Cape Ann and have been wowing local audiences for years.

Join the fun at the next Cape Ann Contra Dance at the Magnolia Library Community Center, 1 Lexington Avenue, Gloucester, MA.
The dancing starts at 8:00 PM. No experience is necessary. All dances are taught.
There is a requested donation of $10 per dancer, dancers younger than 16 are free.
Sit-in musicians are also welcome. We ask sit-ins to make a donation as well to help with the overhead.
This event is supported in part by a grant from the Gloucester Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. The Cape Ann Contra Dances are organized and produced by Folk Life Studio.

Songs for Grace: Concert to Benefit the Grace Center

Join singer/songwriters Marina Evans, Quentin Callewaert, and Alexandra & Josh for an acoustic concert of original music (& eclectic covers) to benefit the Grace Center of Gloucester, held at the beautiful St. John’s Episcopal Church.
The songwriters will perform in the round, trading songs ranging in style from traditional folk to jazz, blues, and indie pop. They join forces in support of the Grace Center, an invaluable organization and resource for Cape Ann’s homeless. Offering support and services for those in need, the Grace Center has served over 1,100 individuals since its opening in 2009. “No matter the life circumstances that have brought our guests to our doors, we strive to always provide gifts of acceptance, hospitality, and opportunity to all we meet.”
There is a $10 suggested (but not required!) donation at the door. (Give what you can – but your presence is the best gift of all!) Concert proceeds will be donated to the Grace Center.

Meanwhile, Uncle Drawsum Buttah has transformed the LobstahCrackah back into a prince, who returns to Lobstahland disguised as a squid to save the day.
