Fly Amero and Jon Butcher, sit in with Aurelia Nelson on her
acclaimed morning show, “Curtain Up” this Sunday at 9am to
discuss the upcoming Big, BIG STRUM event scheduled for
Saturday, October 4 at the Gloucester House, 63 Rogers Street,
Gloucester, MA. Amero and Butcher will be joined by Cliff
Goodwin (of Joe Cocker Band fame) via telephone. The three
frontline guitarists cover much ground in a short time, touching
on various aspects of their careers and reflecting on each other’s
history together – a history that very much includes fellow “Big
Strummer”, David Brown. For those living beyond radio signal’s
reach, simply go to the 104.9 site, http://www.northshore1049.com/
and click on “LISTEN LIVE” in the upper right corner for live
online streaming.

Cliff Goodwin (Joe Cocker) – gtr, voc
David Brown (Billy Joel, Simon & Garfunkel) – gtr, voc
Jon Butcher (Jon Butcher Axis) – gtr, voc
Mike Levesque (David Bowie) – drums

THURSDAY 8:30 – 11:30 ~ DAVE SAG’S BLUES PARTY WITH SPECIAL GUEST: Andrew Clark with
Mike DiBari on glitar
We’re calling in a hazmat crew this week to clean up the mess that’s gonna be created out of the arrival of that famous Tootin’ Torquemada of the Tenor: Mr. Andrew Clark. This guy really knows how to do it. He sings, he chortles, he squeaks out the most amazing renditions of vintage R&B with his own battery of weapons of mass deconstruction. You’ll see. This coming on the heels of the most amazing night last week when the Three Stooges of the Blues poked my eyes out . What a night!
AC will be yanking in the amazing Mr. Mike DiBari to play gootar and perhaps sing a few, too. My personal favorite woodchopper, Mr. Forrest Padgett, will be flailing away on the skins. And I, Salmon DaveSag, will be helping out as much as I can. So, don’t be a cube, rube, go ape! Seeya there!

This very special concert is the climax of the Celebrate Gloucester Benefit Concert Series bringing national recording stars to Gloucester to help raise money for local causes. Portions of the proceeds benefit Gloucester’s Unitarian Universalist Church Meetinghouse Restoration Project.

A special treat this week as we welcome Ms. Danielle Miraglia to our stage. She’s a real up and coming talent in the musical world and I’m so glad to have her. She’s everywhere these days, so catch her before you can’t afford it! Mr. Blob Enik, fanciful thought-provoking glitarist , has brought her to my attention and will be joining us. Also, Mr.Jim Gambino, ace pinky-wiggler, will be on keyboard dooties as well as that landscape-beheaded drummbler, Mr. Steevee Chaggaris.
