Bluegrass Jam & Barn Jam (style wide open)
Sundays
Acoustic Jam Sessions Invitation
Slow Jam Tuesdays 7:30 – 9:30 pm $15
Barn Jam (style wide open) 1st & 3rd Sunday 2 – 5 Free
Bluegrass Jam 2nd & 4th Sunday 2 – 5 Free
Bluegrass Jam! …. Do you love that high lonesome sound, that infectious toe tapping rhythm? Bluegrass Pickers you know who you are, so grab your instrument and come down to Dliamond Cove Music this Sunday.
The session will run 2-5 and is limited to 12 musicians’ seats. I’ve got room to have two jam sessions going at once which should help a lot! When you get more than 6 or 7 musicians jamming, it is usually neither satisfying for the musicians nor for any listeners. It just requires too much restraint. With two jams going at once, I can encourage enthusiasts of any ability to attend, and feel confident they should be able to get in on a session where they will feel comfortable. If you are having problems or have any suggestions, please let me know.
With a 12-seat limit, they’re sure to be snatched up quickly, so register today! If you reserve a seat in advance I will make sure you have a seat when you arrive. Musicians do come and go, so even if all seats have been reserved, come anyway and we will probably have room for you at some point.
RESERVE YOUR SEAT by emailing tom@diamondcovemusic.com
Listeners – please find a spot in the front half of the main room.
Customers – I’m open throughout the jam, but checking out new istruments is probably best done before and after the jam.
Musicians – I can’t offer loaner instruments for the jams. Cases must go into the rack or stacked just through door to 2nd room. Click to see proper etiquette.

When we were talking about the set lists he really really wanted to play quite a bit of my original
songs……thought about it……so be it!
This Thursday 2/26 at Katrina’s, 7-10PM, we will be playing original music and some covers.
As always, thank you for your constant support, I never take this forgranted!

Goodnight Moonshine featuring Molly Venter of Red Molly with Cold Chocolate
Goodnight Moonshine is a collaboration of songwriters Molly Venter of the chart-topping Americana group Red Molly, and Eben Pariser of the explosive Brooklyn quintet Roosevelt Dime. Steeped in the 90’s alternative music of their youth, Goodnight Moonshine plays modern folk music with brazen vocals and roots & blues guitar. Imagery-rich stories and bold melodies create a sound that is both celebratory and mournful, reminding the listener of what it felt like to fall in love with a band for the first time

This Thursday! The magnificent reappearance of that Maestro of musical mayhem….Mr. J.B. Amero. Soaked in a strong solution of Merle Haggard and held up by a strong belt of scotch, this cat has the ability to make you spill a tear into your beer without dropping a stitch of laughter, or angst.
More so than most, he really brings this town together,as he has done for many years, despite the fact that his bell-bottoms no longer fit like they used to. He doesn’t need ’em anymore! We’re also dragging in Mr. Dave Brown,goo-tarist xtroidinaire and Dave Mattacks, pendulumatic pacemaker to make it all happen. A very special night!

Tuesday – 9:00 ~
Wednesday – 8-11 Fly Amero with guest
Thursday 6-9 Dave Sag’s Blues Party special guest Diane Blue
Dave says,
Well, I’m sitting around the house waiting for the snow to stop and my codpiece to dry, with Weal Of Fortune oozing out of my Elsie D. screen (no sound) and three martinis under my Kuyper belt, biting my toenails and begging for a break.
Rheumer has it that there’s another storm coming on Thursday, but I’m willing to shake my shaman rattle and toss the dicey bones on another outcome: The arrival of Ms. Diane Blue to our stage. OMG, it’s been a while since Miss D., the Octomom® of the blues has been in these parts, and I’m so glad to have her back. Not only that, but she’s bringing along a killer band with some new people to tintinnabulate your eardrums with the latest ghastly sounds.
Firstly, there’s Bobby Gus, a veritable Boston mainstay, on catarrh. First time. Add Joe Bargar, one of my heroes, on keys. Then trip over Mr. Steve Bankuti, who never heard of me, on eggbeaters. First time, too. I’ve been dying to meet and play with these people. I need the thirty bucks. But, seriously, folks, I’m expecting to have a rousing good time waffling through the entire blue spectrum. C’mon out and dance!
