Every Friday night beginning MAY 27th, through Sept. 5th. Downtown galleries and shops open their doors from 4-8pm and then some… for a “Rockport @ Night” event. The town’s merchants welcome you with light refreshment, wine, and beverage while you enjoy the renowned talents of this creative Art Colony. See art demos, music, and visit the unique shops. Come celebrate as they illuminates it’s streets, and enjoy the ambiance that only Rockport can offer. Meet with the artists and shopkeepers and tour their galleries. Artists will be on hand to take questions from visitors.

Chances are, if you’ve had a radio on today you’ve heard his guitar playing. As one of North America’s go-to guitarists, Sean Ashby has played and recorded with Sarah McLachlan. McLachlan’s guitarist since 1996, Ashby has appeared with her on“Just Like You (Cats In The Cradle)” for D from Run DMC’s solo CD. Also with Sarah, he received two 4 x platinum US discs and one diamond Canadian disc for studio and live CD’s. He has appeared on the Grammy Awards twice, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno five times, SNL and David Letterman three times, as well as other major TV shows. Sean’s guitar playing has appeared on CD’s with sales in excess of 10 million copies worldwide… so far.

Petty Morals is an all-girl synth-rock outfit based out of Salem, MA. Their influences include The Sounds, Le Tigre, Prince, the Rolling Stones, The Epoxies, and The AKAs. They enjoy heavy eyeliner, the finest boxed wines, and being all dressed up with nowhere to go. They won 2nd place in the 2014 Rock N Roll Rumble, were nominated for best new act and best rock act in the 2014 Boston Music Awards, and WON the award for ‘video of the year’ in the 2015 Boston Music Awards!
