Julie Upton, a trained Tibetan and Indian Yogi, will be leading the warm up with yoga style movement exercises including the breath and Sanskrit Bija Mantras, illuminating the role our body plays in creating our reality. And how important moving our bodies and loving every part of ourselves is to having a thriving experience in this life.
Wake Up Spirit is a dance of heart and community. A safe place to connect to spirit through movement and sound. We gather on the first and third Sunday of the month at the Floating Lotus on Main Street in Gloucester. Join us for this celebration of life!

DescriptionA fun musical program with singing, dancing, yoga play, and play-alongs with musical instruments. 45 minute class for toddlers with parents (caregivers). Infants and kindergarten children are welcome too. Package: 6 classes/$65, or drop- in $12/class. The program teacher: Ruthanne Paulson is a theater, music and dance teacher. Ruthanne has been teaching children of many ages for over 20 years. Currently she teaches at North Shore Performing Art Center in Ipswich. You may have seen Ruthanne entertaining our little community members, singing, dancing and playing music at the Gloucester Sawyer Free Library.

Chelsea Berry will lead a celebration of the Christmas season with a performance in the church sanctuary. She will perform Christmas music as well as some of her own wonderful songs. Special guests will add to the festivities.
Chelsea is a singer-songwriter with the edge, power, and finesse of legends. Her presence has been described by listeners as “compelling… she draws the entire house into her world like moths to a flame.” As a vocalist and performer, she evokes the style of artists such as Cheryl Crow, Eva Cassidy, KD Lang, and Melissa Etheridge. Chelsea was born and raised in Alaska.
Acoustic duo Chris Langathanios and Joe WIlkins will open the show.
